I was injured less than a year ago and had to have cervical surgery and knee surgery Febuary and March of this year. I have been exposed to numerous Ct-scans and MRI's and stanard xrays. I recovered from my surgeries but have the normal aches and pains. I have hardware in my neck. A metal cage with screws and a metal brace screwed to the back of my vertabrae. During and after this process and I haven't felt the greatest and feel like I have loss of eneregy. Then here recently I was assaulted and received several facial fractures and what the doctors are now calling concussive syndrome. This most recent incident happened 2 monts ago. Needless to say I was exposed to more radiation due to having 4 (four) more ct-scans. I have been admitted in the hospital 3 different times because of dizziness and leakage of fluids from my sinous and ears. That has stopped now. They thought I had spinal fluid leaking due to the blows I received about the head. I have never felt so sick and disoriented in all my life. I can't afford the surgery I need on my facial bones because my insurance company dropped me because I could not afford the premiums under the cobra act any longer due to me losing my job from the orignal injuries. My company just basically will not let me work for them any longer even though my doctors had released me to go back to work. I worked on the river tow boats as a cook. Please advise me of any helpful info with the possible over exposure to radiation. My doctors say a concussion such as mine takes awhile to get over. I feel there is more to it and I can't afford medical treatment and that is why I feel the medical profession here in Evansville, Indiana won't give me proper treatment. I can't pay for there time.
