I received an e-mail 2 weeks ago from an entity called HerniaPatchRecall that took me to a website that dealt with the recall of the Kugel Mesh Patch. There appears to be a problem with their website and I have not been able to respond to them. I do not know how they obtained my name and e-mail. Would I be on a list? I had bi-lateral inguinal hernia repair approximately 10 yrs ago and a patch was used. About three yrs ago I developed chronic pain which started in the inguinal area, but migrates to different locations in the pelvic region. I had it checked out by the surgeon who did the original repair and he said everything looks OK. That was in early 2008. The surgery was done in Sarasota, Fl. I do not remember the date. I have contacted the physicians office to find out the date of the original surgery and if the Kugel patch was used. After seeing many doctors, I was diagnosed with Pudendal nerve entrapment and had a major surgery last year which has not resolved the problem. Please advise on how to determine if I may have had the patch,
