I have had RR MS since 1996. The disease has been basically treatment resistant. In had doses of Tysabri in Jan. 2005 and again in Feb. 2005. I didn’t want to do the 2nd dose but me doctor talked me into trying it again. I noticed the following symptoms after both doses: very dizzy (felt faint), bladder problems worsened (frequency and urgency), severe elevation of depression (felt totally out of control and suicidal thoughts), severe elevation of insomnia (only sleeping 2-3 hours per night for 2-1/2 – 3 weeks following injections, headaches and eye pain got worse, back and hip pain got worse, chest pain/pressure, and nausea.
Also, in spring of 2006 I developed Stage 1b melanoma. I have had numerous moles checked since having two surgeries from the melanoma, one of them came back with pre-cancerous cells, but the rest were fine.
I’m wondering if there is a class action suit going on for this and if I should contact an attorney to get this info. on record.
Any response would be welcome.
