I agree a 6 month old should not be in a bassinett I only used mine up to 2-3 months of age then I switch them to a crib. I have used mine for all 6 kids and never had a problem. Not sure what else to say except people need to read more about items they buy and use common sense.

I have one that I purchased used, and used it for my baby. I never had a problem with it, and for $25, I’ll put it in the attic and use it again! I read one of those stories about the baby that was 6 months old that died,if you read the inside, it tells you not to use it after your “baby reaches the point of pushing up on hands or knees or 15 pounds,whichever comes first” FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!!
