Another Mother Blames Gardasil for Daughter’s Illness

Gardasil is in the news again. This time, a 17-year-old woman and her mother will be participating in an Internet forum concerning serious reactions the daughter suffered following a Gardasil injection, said Press Republican.
This is not the first time patients have complained about similar, serious, adverse reactions to the controversial cervical cancer injection.
* After one Gardasil injection, a 13-year-old girl was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis, was hospitalized for over three months, and underwent two surgeries to remove Pseudocysts. Her family filed a petition for vaccine compensation, seeking damages from the government.
* A group of Australian researchers found young women there who received the drug were five to 20 times likelier to suffer rare and severe allergic reactions
* In the U.S., a 20-year-old woman suffered a stroke after receiving a second Gardasil injection
* Two women overseas died after receiving their Gardasil injections.
* Three young women died in the U.S. days after Gardasil was administered.
* A 14-year-old girl experienced debilitating headaches, fainting spells, and arthritis-like stiffness and became so dizzy she could barely walk, was hospitalized, missed nearly one month of school, and suffered a seizure.
* Another 13-year-old began showing signs of a degenerative muscle disease after her third Gardasil injection; she is almost completely paralyzed.
Following a Gardasil injection, a 16-year-old girl is sick with constant exhaustion and nausea; hair falling out in clumps, ongoing fainting episodes, numbness, and paralysis; dangerously low blood pressure; and severe back spasms that cause her to stop breathing. The family is convinced the reactions are a result of Gardasil vaccinations, which in her case, were given with a meningitis vaccine.
Despite all of these claims, Merck & Co. maintains that Gardasil—the three-shot inoculations that claim to prevent some—not all—types of the human Papillomavirus (HPV)—are safe.
In this recent case, 17-year-old Kirstie receive her first injection last February and then fell ill with headaches, dizziness, confusion, and lethargy. Kirstie received her second Gardasil dose last April, said Press Republican, and was not improving. Her mother, Debbie LaBombard Cook, told Press Republican, “In June, she had a grand-mal seizure, and we almost lost her. Now, she has auto-immune disease, a brain disease.” Kirstie is now being treated with 14 pills three times daily.
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), said Press Republican. Over 23 million Gardasill doses have been administered in the United States, with the CDC receiving about 12,000 reports of adverse events. While 94 percent were deemed non-serious—fainting or pain and swelling at the injection site—the remainder, which were deemed serious, were found to be random reactions since experts were unable to locate a similar pattern, said Press Republican.
Kirstie and Debbie will be participating in an audio-streamed segment on KRFC FM Public Radio in Fort Collins, Colorado, which can also be accessed via Internet at 8:00 PM Monday, reported Press Republican. “There is no test that says 100 percent that these problems are caused by Gardasil, but if enough people hear about this and share information, it might get someone’s attention,” Debbie Cook told Press Republican.

This is sad! This is what I call,”The Body Bag Theory”. If you count enough dead young women – then – we’ll do a little investigating! Shouldn’t Gardisal be required to have done Independant, long term studies as a “Precautionary Principle” to insure the safety of the product which is administered to the Public? I bet that 17 year old woman and her mother would aggree! IMO – Capitalism has become as evil as Communism!

Sure, blame the government! These are all tragic stories and I am very sympathetic for all of the girls and their loved ones who are affected.
But come on, people. Vaccines have always had side effects. The government and big business has been proven wrong and countless safety issues. At one point, there were campaigns to encourage tobacco smoking because of medicinal purposes! What is the conclusion of the newest study of the effects of one glass of red wine a day? Is it bad for you this month, or healthy?
Yes, medicine has helped many people. But sticking needles full of foreign substances into one’s body should not be the answer for every illness. Particularly HPV. Don’t sleep around, your chances of contracting HPV are lowered. WOW! You see how simple that is?
For the record, I am a nineteen year old female in America. When someone mentioned Gardisal to me, I asked, “You want to give me a shot…WHERE?!” No, thank you.
Please, please, please, don’t trust the government or big business when it comes to what is good for you or not. And ESPECIALLY not for your children. You and yours are your own responsibility. “Slow down! You’re moving too fast..”

My 16 year old daughter has completed all three injections with absolutly no adverse reactions. We have, however, watched friends of the family die with cervical cancer. I have had several procedures due to HPV and bad pap smears indicating pre-cancerous conditions. I’m hoping this prevents the same things happening to my daughter. We discussed the benefits and risks…just as there are for any vaccine, and she made the choice herself. While I grieve for these families, something has to be done to stop this disease. I think this is one step.

Now I am really confused as to what to do with my granddaughter. We were going to take her to have the vaccine but I think now after reading some of these stories we will pass. More studies obviously need to be done, the vaccine needs to be pulled from the shelves of every doctor’s office until more research is done! Thank You

I found this article by searching for information about my girlfriend’s seizures. She’s been seeing a neurologist and she has been prescribed anti-seizure medication, but she still has them once in a while. It recently dawned on us that the tremors started after her third shot of Gardasil, and got progressively worse. She’ll be filing a VAERS report tomorrow. There are a lot of indications from Gardasil users all over the internet about these sorts of problems. I hope that there is something that can be done. It’s hard to feel so helpless when no one can tell us what is causing these seizures or what to do about them.

My 15 yr old didn’t want the vaccine. She told the Dr. she knew it wasn’t mandatory in NYS. He LIED and said it was. How much do they get per vaccine I wonder? Anyway, she began to get sick and after 3 months was misdiagnosed with mono, but instead it was Hodgkin’s Lymphoma! I believe that the vaccine caused it.

Please go to fda website all of you who are unsure if you should give this to your child see that the fda has pre approved this vaccine and final results do not have to be in until 2013. The shocking part of this is what is in this vaccine these ar things that are probably sterilizing young girls and who knows about birth defects when these kids decide to have children cervical cancer is oln the bottom of the list of cancers to concern yourselves with in fact if cuaght early with regular pap smears it is curable don’t panic which is what Mercks very costly advertising campaign did to all the parents. cause panic and their stock to go up but not for long as the truth about this miracle vaccine are to shocking Be calm read read read

My daughter received the shot last year, and the doctor’s office did not inform me that she had to come back for the other two shots. When I took her for her check-up this year they informed me that she has to receive the shot in a series of three. I am not going to allow the shots to be completed, because last year she started complaining of pain in her muscles a few weeks after the shot, but it did not cross my mind that it may have come from the shot. The pain eventually subsided, but when she got the first shot all over again this year, she came to me telling me that the nerves in her arm were jumping and it will not stop. I massaged her arm and her hand, it stopped after about 10 minutes. I went online and saw these stories about the problems other young girls are having, and I am with them on this ban, I will not be going forward with any of the other shots. I love my baby, and I do not want some shot that may not even work ruin her health. I pray that these shots are stopped.

My healthy 15 year old granddaughter had two of the gardasil vaccines and began having seizures and many of the other symptoms, brain fog, head aches, etc. So many young girls are suffering needlessly because of greed.
Yes, indeed they are one less, because they are less than they were before, and the precious lives that were taken are, One less. I would like to sue, the FDA, Merrick, and everyone involved with the tv commercials or other advertisments promoting these vaccines. They walk around all smiling and healthy declaring how they are going to be one less and I cringe because I know they are targeting other victims with scare tactics.
And Caroline, please don’t assume these girls were having sex, because my granddaughter wsa not even dating as I am sure many of these young women were not.
It is all about using scare tactics to make billions of dollars. How many family member of the Merrick co, and the FDA or FCC have had the vaccines? Or the ones doing the commercials, probably none.
God help us all, because man is out to destroy us and let us all pray for God bless every mother and daughter who are suffering because of the ill advisment and I pray that God returns to healh each and every girl who has been affected by these vaccines. And, if your daughter or loved one has no side effects, thank God but be aware that there is now cervical cancers linked to vaccine from the ones with no side effects.
