This is one of the smallest problems regarding breeding salmon from Norway. Several rivers are highly threaten because of too close installations like in Chile. Next spring its expected that all wild salmon fry will die when they seeks from their rivers into the atlantic. Extreme numbers of resistent salmon lice is the problem and escaped "cow barn salmon". Hardanger fiord is already dead when we think about salmon. Trondheim fiord is next with the rivers; orkla, gaula, verdalselva, stjørdalelva, namsen, nidelva, levangerelva, figga, ogna, steinkjerelva and many more. Our government in Norway seems not to bother because this is norways third largest cash cow. Please stop eating norwegian salmon.
