Dorm Daze 2 dvd Recalls of <"http://www.yourlawyer.com/practice_areas/product_liability">two defective products
, Bugaboo Strollers and Novara Trionfo Bicycles, were recently announced by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).
The Bugaboo Stroller recall involves 22,500 “Bee” strollers made by Bugaboo Design & Sales, B.V., of the Netherlands, and distributed by Bugaboo North America Inc., of Hermosa Beach, Calif. According to the recall notice, one or both sides of the brakes can fail, causing a stroller to unexpectedly roll away on an incline. This can pose a risk of injury to the child occupant. There have been 121 reports of the strollerâ€™s brakes failing. No injuries have been reported.
The recalled Bugaboo Bee strollers have item code 580210 on a label on the back of the seat and item code 50100 on a label on the plastic support under the seat. The strollers were sold in blue, dark khaki, pink, red, yellow, and black. â€œbugabooÂ® beeâ€ is printed on the left side of the seat. They were sold at juvenile product retailers nationwide and on various Web sites from August 2007 through April 2009 for about $530.
Consumers should stop using the strollers immediately and contact Bugaboo to receive a free repair kit. Novara Trionfo Bicycles
About 260 2005 Novaro Trionfo Bicycles are being recalled by Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI), of Kent, Wash. According to the recall notice, the fork can separate from the steerer tube which can cause the rider to lose control, posing a fall hazard. The firm has received two reports of forks separating causing riders to fall. Injuries reported include a fractured clavicle, broken teeth, facial damage and head injuries.
This recall involves 2005 Novara Trionfo bicycles with Aprebic carbon fiber forks. The bicycles are blue and white with black forks, and have the name â€œNovaraâ€ printed on the bars. They were sold at REI retail stores nationwide from January 2005 through August 2006 for between $720 and $1,900.
