I was in the USMC from 1993 to 1999. I received 2 doses/shots of Anthrax in 1998 while on deployment. I have experienced a lot of the same symthoms listed by other vets/service members who’ve commented here, however, I have managed to avoid any severe side effects since I got the shots. I don’t want to sound like a hippy or a newager but things have been that way because I practice meditation. Take this for whatever it is worth to you, or not: I believe everything in the universe holds a spiritual power or charge, including our bodies. We can learn to work with spiritual energy to heal ourselves and help our body to remove and cleanse itself from toxins. In case the government ever admits to any fault the best thing they are going to do is conpensate you financially and/or give you more drugs. I say take charge of your own healing and reconnect with yourself through meditation. There are books and knowledge on the subject everywhere you look these days, take advantage of the internet and youtube! Until then, Semper Fidelis!

I had cervical neck fusion with Infuse from C4-C7 in 2007. Ever since then i’ve worse pain than what i started with. Its all over neck, an dull, deep, throbbing, hurting pain. I have to take pain medicine and not able to work. Had I known this, I wouldnt of had it.

None of the above is news to millions with asthma(me) and allergies(me): Also, I told my physicians for many years,”I think I am a Diabetic.” They neglected to run an A1C for over 10 years. Result an A1C of 12.6. When will the medical community start listening to their patients? My guess is after they die.

I had my leades fail and recieved 45 unneeded shocks before I could get to a hospital to get it stopped. I was horrified as to which shock was going to kill me.The device was replaced and the old leads left in my heart. I now carry a magnet on my side 24/7 so if it happens again I can shut it off.

I have just receive word from my lawyer about the settlement. It seems that they will be receiving any day now the settlement amount per person. They also will distribute a portion of your award by the end of the year or the first of the new year. the balance will be distrubte once the medical liens a complete. If you are not happay with the amount of the claim you can appeal but you will not receive any of the money until the apeal is heard which means later next year before you receive any money.

hi everyone i would like to share my story tryed to do it on kbb.com and it was to long and for some reason wouldnt send i’ll try and keep it short here and hopefully it will send. yes i joined the club i am number 105 on the list. I leased my 02′ mountaineer the end of november 2010. I like this car at first. on august 23rd i was on the freeway with my mom and it was making a reving sound trying to go past 25 miles and so i just pressed the accelorator harder and than shook itself past 25mph to get up to speed cuz im now on the freeway and not only does fast cars get into crashes easily so do slow ones too. and my my mom was like thats sounds like the transmission. i went to class and than got back in my car and it was worse and finally the ‘check transmission’ light came on and the o/d light was flashing and im like f@ck. so im still making payments on this car i havent had it a year left and only 70,000 miles on it AND a transmission is the freaken heart of the car and usually outlast the car itself. so i take it back to where i purchased it from and the dealer is like “im sorry your past warranty and there is nothing we can do” and he tried to make it seem like it was my fault really im gonna blow a transmission the only way a tranny goes out is if your a. in a car accident or b. THE SHITTY ASS WORK OF THE MANUFACTURE!!!! so anyway so now i had to pay for that and so i finally got my car back on november 2nd and it seemed fine but still slightly pulled at the same spot it was having problems with the first time. BUT here is the “good” part ha yeah right “good” on Wednesday November 9th 2011 i replace the tire (a used one it was only gonna be there for the raider game and than i was gonna get a new one) but little do i know if ur gonna replace one you have to replace ALL. so my car starts to wobble i take it back and he said “oh your car is just not used to the different tire and you need an alignment
well i thought i had time to get the alignment over the weekend. but no the car made a clicking noise for like 30 secs. okay now the next day thursday i put my car in reverse and than i hear a loud pop everyone heard it in the shopping center and im like okay this shitty car is just going down hill. later that night heading to the raider vs charger game the car is struggling to turn and we start smelling rubber i thought maybe something was rubbing up against the tire. so i take my friend home and he said he was worried about me. but i struggled my way to get home i went like 50 miles on the freeway, i finally got off the freeway and i didnt notice on the freeway but when i was waiting at the red light steam was coming up from the left side of the hood and im like damn and than the light turns green and the car dont want to move, so i slam the accelorator and it goes very hard though and than i hear it that sound no one ever wants to hear a click pop sound as im driving and im like lord please just let me make it home and park this son of a B!tch. the pedestrians all turn their heads cuz it is loud. i make it home the whole dang block smells of rubber thats how strong it is. the next day friday 11-11-11 i take it to pepboys and they tell me its most likely the DIFFERENTIAL, now i never heard of that but its second to tranny work which is pretty darn bad. what im smelling is transmission fluid flowing from the front of the car all the way down to the bottom. i just start crying cuz im 19 i done so much to get this car and another major problem right after the other on a car that im making payments on and is really not that worth it. so i have it towed thanks to triple a lol back to the car dealer who was “initially” fixed the tranny. the tow man actually said it may be something minor like the transmission box which can be bought used for like $300 which is still alot but a whole lot better than $1500 to fix the differential problem. so im hoping the mechanic gives me good news that it has something to do with the tranny cuz i have a warranty on that only a month can you believe that but its still a warranty so i will find out tomorrow or the next day. and if it is something major i pretty much am done investing the little money i have ALL on this car. when i could be spending time with my fam and friends doing stuff. thank yall for taking the time to read this. i am glad im not alone in this situation but i am sad that were all in this messed up situation and COME ON PEOPLE IF WE HAVE TIME TO TYPE A MESSAGE WE NEED TO COME UP WITH LIKE A PETITION TO SUE FORD OR MAKE THEM DO SOMETHING CAUSE REALLY THEY ARE CHEATING US AND THEY KNOW NO ONE IS REALLY DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I have a 2009 Street Glide which I purchased new. I was in a wreck on October 4, 2011. As a result of hitting my breaks the motorcycle did not stop like I thought it should have. This caused me to wreck and did $8,000 (approx.) damage to the motorcycle. This has not been repaired as of yet but will be when the parts come in to the dealership. I just received the recall letter today (11/14/11). I will have the dealer look at this. I only have 4,800 miles on my motorcycle.

Hi my name is lisa and when I Found out i was pregnant with my daughter in 2008 I Was taking Lamictal and About 2 weeks after taking the medication I had a severe allergic reaction hives, swelling of eyes and face, I was taken off of it and put on Keppra, When my daughter was born she was fine and when She was one years old I noticed she didnt have a vaginal opening it appeared to be just skin, Her pediatrician said dit is a rare birthdefect for sure but I forgot to mention the Seizure meds i was on the whole pregnancy… Do you know if Keppra or Lamictal might have caused that particular birth defect?

I was prescribed Byetta and on Sept. 29, 2008, I had to have 1/3 of my pancreas removed to stop the cancer that was on it. I was blessed to have a great Doctor. The doctor also removed some small cancers off my Liver during my surgury. My kindeys will not work well enough to remove creatinine in my blood, so now I can’t get a full CT Scan, because my Kidneys can’t remove the dye normally used for CT Scans.

I have a 2003 ford f350 with 6.0L diesel in it. I had to buy a completely different engine after 107,000 miles which cost me over $12,000. My truck has been in and out of shop since engine replacement. Wiring harness and FICM repalced twice $4000.00 and now the EGR cooler is putting coolant in the exhaust reburn. Est. Cost $1,000 to repair. I’m at $17,000. Live in ohio, would love some help on these repairs

I have a Mod.700, went off very unexpectedly, bullet hit the ground because the gun was being held pointed in a safe direction. Bullet hit a rock and ricocheted through both of my legs. It’s a great gun, with a terrible trigger design. Like a good car with a bad tire. I changed the trigger to a Jewell brand and I still use the gun. Simple fix. Remington should step up and do a recall.

My 2006 Explorer is reving then jerking when I put it in reverse from park. I just put 50,000 miles on the car. Told the dealer and he said it was just the transmission. That is not a lot of miles to start having transmission problems. I have done a lot of checking on the internet and looks like lots of Ford SUV owners are having this same problem. Why isn’t Ford accountable. I am retired and just last year paid the car off. I cannot afford to buy another car at this point. Why can’t Ford find a fix for this problem??

I had the Reclast infusion in June 2011. I felt alot of flu-like symptoms for a week, also very very weak, lots of arm, chest and shoulder pain. Since then i have noticed alot of weakness, bone and joint pain,has worsened but i also have fibromyalgia, so i deal with fatigue and pain constantly. but also i have had problems with vision and hearing. also alot of pain in my right ear several different times. one thing i’ve really noticed is my bones feel worse, especially my ribs, i swear they actually crack n pop alot, and are very weak, which they were never like that before the infusion. Has anyone else developed this type of problem??? there are alot of days that i cannot do anything , but I also have alot of other medical conditions. Personally i can’t help but think that these BIG pharmacutical companies are all “about the money” not the well being of the patient. Which is sad. But apparently money talks, even when it comes to a persons health.

have this siding on a home that i purchased in 2008. install was under previous owner. Siding since purchase has cracked, pealed chipped. Especially on the South facing sides of the home. Short story: I have a License Plate with Semper Fi on it. A guy comes over to me(last Year) outside church and asked me if I was in the Marines, I said yes. He asked if I was in Camp Lejeune and I said yes. It turns out that we were both there around the same time 56/58. He said that he read about the toxic water problem there and that he had Cancer of one of his kidneys and they had to take it out, I said so did I. Very strange, two Marines in the same place at the same time and both had cancer of the kidney.

After purchasing a 2004 Ford Explorer XLS 4×4 with 86k miles I started noticing problems with going from park to reverse, feels like the transmiision is going to break. It slams and jerks. Sometimes when making sharp turnes, it feels like the 4×4 is locking in. With all the complaints that have been posted with the same issues come on, I guess it will take somebody getting killed before Ford is held accountable for their actions.

Well, i am 24 years old. In 2008 (i was 21) My lead fractured and i received 52 (yes 52) unnecessary shocks. I have extreme anxiety and had to have the lead replaced. I think if i had one shock now i would have a nervous break down. I have went so far as contemplating making them turn it off, but then i worry it might be needed one day. The last letter i received was in Sept or Oct. and it said we should receive letters this month with our money amounts and if we accept the amount they should send at least a portion of our reward out next month. Who really knows what is going to happen. I stopped believing things about 4 letters ago. It will happen when it happens and at this point I think we the injured who are supposed to be protected by this country will not get sh*t.

2006 Mercury Mountaineer – high rev and transmission. This is similar to #70. The car will be driving normal and then all of a sudden, the engine will rev to almost 2K rpms, the AC/HTR fan runs very high, and the speed wont go above 20 MPH. Seems to happening more and more. Not sure what bringing it to the dealer will do other than cost me more money.

My husband had knee replacement in 2009. Saw dr. yesterday as he is still in pain. Dr. says xrays look fine. Suggested a bone density test which will take 3 1/2 hrs. today. My husband has Huntingdon’s disease and has trouble with his gait and the dr. knew this when he did the replacement. Dr. told me his replacement is the zimmer nexgen lps. He told me that they have not had any trouble with this replacement. How should we proceed.

I had a medtronic pump some 15 years ago, Shortly after it was implanted the catheter broke and it as well as the small tube fell to my lower spine where it still remains as of today when it broke they replaced it and sent me home a couple days later a nurse came to fill the pump with Morphine and filled the wrong port putting all the meds into the flush port and almost killed me and making me have a very bad reaction to morphine,so I had it removed. I take demerol for pain that is constantly getting worse I think it is from the tube and catheter still in my lower back. I am searching for a med that will help as of now still searching.Don’t have one of these implanted!!!! I take pills orally so I can control my meds and the withdrawals were somthing I never want again.

Once upon a time in the South of North America a place called Texas, there were massive deposits of liquefied dinosaur buried deep in the land. Some people came along and said we need that liquefied dinosaur & letâ€™s see what we can do with it and contemporary people became very dependent on the stuff that could be made with it, and the people made a lot of money and were very prosperous and happy living to limits never know before to man, really mind blowing things beating disease, travelling & communicating at unbelievable speeds. It was a time like no other.
Under the earth and in the air trouble was a brewing. Sinkholes, and earthquakes and fires OH MY. The worst came when the oil had been drawn out, and the gas rush hit, why it was stronger than the gold rush and there were a lot more whores. Selling out peopleâ€™s homes that they loved so they could bring in giant syringes made of metal with power boosters for added pressure and they started pumping the water out of the lakes and mixing it with diesel fuel and other chemicals and injecting it in to the earth to force the natural gas out of the shale. I wonder if the earth hates needles as much as I do.
Before we go on with the story how many of you know the nature of shale? It is a porous rock with many natural fissures (aka cracks) and when it gets wet it expands and then when it dries out not only does it shrink it also becomes very brittle and breaks apart. You can see the crumbly layers of it at the Grand Canyon.
Some people stood up and said we do not want this it is increasing the number of childhood leukemia cases in our area, and some other people said yes but look we made these wonderful medical supplies so we can give you treatment for your terrible illnessThe EPA did studies and said well get back to you with the results in a couple of years, and other companies came and took air samples and said everything is fine. But the greed mongers kept fracking. In fact they fracked so much they had to build giant storage fields as big as 10 football fields. While our story takes place in Texas this was happening worldwide as if the Nazi’s were gassing the whole world all at once. THE HORROR!
So one April in 2011 wildfires broke out across the state of Texas the whole state was on fire except 2 counties, and firemen were killed and other firemen came to help. One of the fires burned one of the storage sites. That place went up in seconds donâ€™t cha know. Meanwhile, various homes were exploding and workers at the frackin sites were blowing up and burning to death. Later maybe someone will come along and find a use for them once the earth has liquefied them, but that’s a whole other story. Back in Texas the earth was a rumbling just some small earthquakes no big deal except for the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. Just a little Nuclear power Plant on the Brazos, betcha the Real Comanche are going to be pretty pissed that such a deadly thing be named after them. If you ever go take the tour they will tell you how it is built on the most geographically stable areas on the continent, really, and maybe it was but that was before the fracking and the earthquakes in Cleburne, only 25 miles away, as the crow flies.
After the fires came the worse drought on record for many parts of Texas and in the area of the Barnett Shale the already carbon dioxide rich air had new additives like more benzene (aka cancer accelerant, not to worry though we have these fabulous medical supplies) the benzene got in the air through evaporation from all the new frack pond they had built across the land. Why I myself have three of these right here in my little town just a mile away. The people did not feel well, and their happiness was fading, but they didn’t even realize why, not all of them. Then in August at one of the gas compression plants there was a fire and a huge leak that went on for hours, but it was decided that they would not tell the people and the gas Companies had their own police and fire department take care of everything very hush hush and on the down low.
Oh I almost forgot to mention the nuclear power plant was located on top of the Barnett Shale. Wait for it …here it comes they drained all the lakes and people kept moving to Texas to get away for their bad weather, and the infrastructure was really maxed out and the pressure built and the pressure underground built and then one terrible dark day the ground burst and the plant started leaking and it got in the rivers and it got on the people and the white dust from the gypsum mines covered over them from giant wind storms and everywhere you looked where rivers flowing with chalky white bodies so thick you could not even see the water just a river of people. There were explosions of gas everywhere and the earth opened up, and this is for all you Armageddon enthusiasts, and hell, yes hell was created. Those that remained were angered and they sought the people who profited from the fracking and they seized them and said look at the destruction you have caused and they cast them in the fire.
After some time the earth healed its oowwee and it scabbed over and eventually new vegetation started growing, but most of the people were gone because they could not get clean water or food or gas to warm them when the cold came. The End.

I was shocked over 20 times by the fracture of the sprint fidelis leads in my heart and spent several weeks in the hospital getting a new ICD and new leads and they still put another sprint fidelis lead back in my body. My doctor said it was a miracle it didn’t kill me but all I can say is the LORD was with me and kept me alive for some reason. My ejection fraction went from 35% to 25% and I may die at any time just like all involved. It’s a Canadian vehicle. Last week it started to loose Coolant. I brought it to Porsche Prestige a Montreal dealer. They told me that the plastic pipes are ruptured and have to be replaced at a cost of Appr. $2200 labour and parts. They insist that I have no choice to pay if I want them to replace these leaky plastic coolant pipes.
I feel it’s not right for Porsche company to treat clients like that. When they already new of the problem with these plastic pipes.

WHY is FDA so quick to defend Chantix? I understand why Pfizer wants it to succeed $$$$, (which it won’t) but why FDA? This is ONE, POWERFUL, SNEAKY, drug. You have to know people don’t go to the trouble and expense of getting this script…w/hopes of having horrendous side effects.

WHY is it SO hard to believe that people are telling the TRUTH when they tell their story?? I say this because I took two scripts back/back in ’07 and know FIRST HAND the POWER of this little blue pill. I took this in good faith and was THRILLED when it really did make smoking a chore!!

OMG…could it REALLY have been THIS easy???!!! And, had it STOPPED there, I, too, would be singing Chantix’ praises. But, it didn’t…and I can’t.

The truth is once in your system…only God knows how/where you will land. It’s hard to explain and had I not taken it mySELF, I would’ve had a hard time believing some of the stories. But, I DID and can assure any doubters…the side effects are REAL…very, very, REAL…who knew a pill could twist/distort/confuse one’s mind so completely?? Certainly not ME. I TRUSTED everyone involved in the process…my doctor, my pharmacist, the FDA and just ASSUMED since it was FDA approved, that surely Pfizer is on the up and up. OMG…what a fool I was. And the ones that are having a lot of health problems from helping people that day. You know we have said that we will never for get that day. And we haven’t forgot about the many that were killed that day. But honestly ask your self for those of you that are like me that don’t live anywhere close to New York, about how many times have you thought about the ones that survived having health problems. I have a Sportsman 78 (the cheaper version of the 700, got it in my youth). Nonetheless, I have seem many posts regarding misfiring of the 700. Has this been traced down to the bolt, trigger, safety, other? i.e. If I am to replace a single compenment to make it safer, which one should be replace?

I attended Holy Family Catholic school. I was sexually abused when i was in the 3rd grade. It was covered up by the school skipping me a grade. I had no memory of being skipped a grade. My parents did not suspect. The priest was a visiting “missionary” who spent hundreds of dollars on gifts for myself and my family. I contacted the Seattle Archdioceses and they offered to pay for 6 visits to a psychiatrist. Although this sex abuse was a dim memory, it came back when i received a copy of my school records. Let me educate you as far as DePuy. I am deeply involved with a Pinnacle Altrx liner Artic/ulze cup that has caused tremendous pain starting 8 months after surgery. The surgeon was told NOT to use the DePuy of any sort (but did anyway). Surgery done May 3, 2010. Went fine initially-now terrible pains inside thigh and hip, continuing below knee. You attorneys have all turned me down for representation because the implant has a polyethelene liner, and requires some work on your part. Not part of the metal to metal recall. I question your profession for allowing this injustice to continue because there is no recall on the “lined”, non-metal to metal DePuy implants. No cash cow, so attorneys won’t help me. I just want to get the pain to go away. Obviously, the surgeon has done all his tests and claims he has “no idea” why there is pain.

I have read other reports where the implant can fail with the Altrx liner if the angles of insertion are off, the liner degrades, or there is an allergic reaction to the poly compoments.Forget it! Well,revise your comments.

I ALSO FOUND NEXT TO MY BED A PAPER TO SIGN FOR “ORGAN DONATION” THIS GUY IS ONE OF THOSE THAT ARE CALLED “HOSPITALITS” NEVER HEARD OF HIM. HE PRESCRIBED HEPARIN VIA TELEPHONE NEVER SAW ME, ANOTHER SUPPOSED TO BE PHYSICIAN FROM THAT GROUP SHOW UP THE DAY I WAS LEAVING AND TOLD ME, MRS PINO YOU WERE RIGHT YOU DID NOT NEED HEPARIN, THEN DOCTOR “FRANKESTE]IEN” SHOWS UP AND TOLD ME I’M GOING TO RELEASE YOU, MY REPLY WAS I M LEAVING ANY WAY.
HE WROTE A PRESCRIPTION FOR “RESTORIL” THE SIDE EFFECT OF RESTORIL PEOPLE THAT TAKE THESE PILLS COMMITT SUICIDE AND HURT TEHMSELVES. THANKS, I DON’T TAKE DRUGS. BUT, I STILL HAVE THE PAPER WITH THE PRESCRIPTION.

In 1999 I installed GAF TIMBERLINE SHINGLES and are failing with hundreds of vertical cracks on the exposed shingle surface. My roof is now leaking as well. What upsets me the most, this is the second set of shingles from GAF that have failed. I just received a letter from GAF and they wanted to give me $1,400.00 which is baloney, for another failed roof??? I’m located in Wilson, NC on a country club.

I went to the foot dr. and he told me not to wear them shoe any more. I have stretch the muscle in my heel that some of the muscle pull from my heel bone. Had to get a shot but in still hurting me I wore them to work 12 hr. My hips was also hurting. Didnt know it was the shoe that was doing it. I am in a lots of pain in my heel.

My boyfriend passed away suddenly last month. He suffered from chronic insommnia for many years and he was on 200mg a of Seroquel a day in addition to a few other prescription drugs. I am devastated and absolutely heartbroken over losing the love of my life and the kindest and most compassionate person i have ever known. We are still waiting to receive the toxicology reports but i am feeling quite certain that Seroquel was the cause or at the least a huge factor in his death. I am so angry and enraged with the Medical community, how can they be prescribing this kind of poison to people. Vicky i totally understand your pain and anger, you are absolutely right, it is absolutely horrifying that so many people are dying beucase of this horrible drug.

I have a 2003 Mountaineer and have put about $6000 into it this year. $400 to replace the cracked rear panel that should have been recalled. $1900 for ball joints, bearings, and emergency brake replacement. $2900 to rebuild the transmission that should be recalled. Plus, new tires, front and rear brakes, and new seals on oil pan. This is the worst vehicle I have ever owned and will never buy a Ford again, nor will I let anyone I know buy a Ford. Ford makes faulty vehicles and does not take responsibility for it. I’m sorry to hear about the folks who have been hurt due to these Ford vehicles. The problem is that government will not go after car companies for anything after the near collapse of the auto industries a few years ago. Sad, but true. Ford is government. This is why we are all screwed.

Anyone that posts they know what is going on in this settlement is telling a BIG LIE. I have been in contact with my attorney since last Oct 15, when MEDTRONIC announced they would pay $268MILLION and all I have received is one lie after another each month it is some other delay, when is it going to stop and the money come our way I DONT KNOW AND I DON’T THINK ANYONE ON THIS SUBJECT KNOWS IF THE ATTORNEY DON’T KNOW OR SAY HOW CAN WE KNOW??

I was prescribed Neurontin in 2010 for severe nerve pain in my arm & hand
from a bad fall. After taking this Rx for 2 months I ended up with an extreme hearing loss in both ears. The loss is more to understanding what you are saying not to volume. It is like you are talking a foreign language to me. So I miss out on a lot and I can sympathize with any one who has suffered any kind of a loss from Rx Drugs. If a drug is approved for one usage, such as Neurontin for seizures, it should be completely illegal to promote or sell it for any other usage.

tmrx’s, You are correct on many of your assessments, however the CRC (claims review committee) is made up of 3 different law firms and they have been working 3 or 4 months to process all the claims. I would think they have received some monies for their time and effort, people do have to live and I am sure that their cost are adding up to alot of cash outlay. As for other lawyers, they cannot get monies for 2 reasons, 1. The suit has not been funded as of 10 days ago. 2. They have to be able to turn in clients share to be awarded the money.
Rethink a little and understand that Medtronic is not giving away anything until everything is their way. ONLY MEDTRONIC CONTROLS THE PURSE STRINGS, NOT THE COURT.

Got a letter last week (Oct 12,2011) from an attorney who notified me that the firm would be submitting final papers for payout settlement on my behalf for my designated attorney firm.
This was not my attorney but someone who was working with my attorney for settlement. I was fed up playing the game and the letter said that final papers must be filed before the end of December 2011. I just put the papers aside and figured I didn’t want to play the paper chase any more.
well just a few days ago MY attorney called me and inquired why I haven’t submitted the signed papers yet and it was most important that I did, immediately. I told him that they only want to know who my insurance company was, as the judge was sending out letters to see if they (My Insurance Company) had participated in any payout. Which they had not, as I was paying my Cardiologist with my own funds. I signed the papers and sent it out the next day. SO WE SHALL SEE if it only another paper chase or what.

I HAD a 1998 Pontiac Gran Prix that caught fire in a parking lot & was scrapped due to the cost of fixing the car, I have pic’s of the fire. This just happen within the month? I have kept the car in perfect running order? I have a repair shop that will attest to that! What can I do?
