Folding Deck Chairs Recalled For Collapse Hazard

Folding Deck Chairs Recalled For Collapse HazardJust in time for the warm weather, folding deck chairs are being recalled for collapse hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The 1,200 recalled Folding Deck Chairs were manufactured in China by West Marine Products Inc., Watsonville, California and were sold exclusively at West Marine stores nationwide, online at, and in the West Marine catalog from February 2012 to May 2012. The defective chairs retailed for about $70.

The firms are advising consumers to immediately stop using the recalled West Marine Deluxe Deck Chairs and call West Marine for a full refund or store credit. Consumers may also return the chairs to any West Marine store to receive the refund or store credit.
