The Nassau County, New York man slipped and fell in a Sears store in May 2009, according to the complaint. The lawsuit also claims that the man’s injury caused pain, shock. and mental anguish.

According to the allegations in the lawsuit, the New York man’s injuries are permanent and he has and will continue to incur medical expenses from conditions related to the incident.

Allegedly, the damage suffered at Sears has left the man unable to perform his normal everyday activities and the lawsuit seeks compensation for loss of consortium on behalf of the man’s spouse.
